McKinsey’s Global Payment Map 2017 report throws light on the composition of payment markets, changes & innovation in payment markets and future outlook. Marc Niederkorn, Partner at McKinsey believes that immediate payments in the Asian Pacific region have picked up whereas in Europe it’s yet to pick-up. The report also highlights that changes in GDP growth & interest rates have an effect on the payment business. Marc points out that there are strong fundamentals in the industry which gives plenty of opportunities for companies to grow.
